Simon Kirsch

Associated PhD Student

University Hospital Freiburg, Project Neurobiological Correlates of Psychotherapy in Autism

As a cognitive scientist trained in psycholinguistics, my interest in autism research evolved via questions regarding the linguistic processing of irony. In my current PhD-project I am investigating neural correlates of emotion recognition and how these might be affected by autism spectrum disorders.

When not in the lab, I enjoy spending time with my bike and my family.

Areas of interest & expertise
